Concerts!

Hello together,

it is time now to announce the next confirmed dates for concerts this and next year.

So here they are:

1) 04th of october 2014  Electronic-Circus , City of Gütersloh , Germany

2) 01st of november 2014  Zeiss-Planetarium , City of Jena , Germany

3) 08th of november 2014 Planetarium am Insulaner , Berlin , Germany

4) 21st of november 2014 UfaFabrik , Berlin , Germany

5) 20th of february 2014 UfaFabrik , Berlin , Germany

Details will follow, but I can tell you at this moment, that I will be accompanied at most of the concerts by Burghard Rausch on drums and by famous Christine Rauh on Cello. For the concerts at UfaFabrik, we will have a special appearance by the known Samba group Terra Brasislis.

Also a new CD-release is in preparation.

New concert in Berlin!

Next autumn concerts are in preparation status and here is anothoer confimred date, which can be now added to your calendar.

We will have another "Bernd Kistenmacher - Live in concert 2014!" show on 8th of november, 2014 in Berlin at "Planetarium am Insulaner" in Berlin.

I am very happy to announce, that all works for "UTOPIA" are finished now and that there is only one week to go to hold the CD in our hands!

I wish to thank all friends and persons, which were involved in this fantastic adventure and which made that dream real. Many thanks to my collegues and friends Burghard Rausch, TThomthom Geigenschrey, Thorsten Quaeschning, Alex Altronicartworks, Christian Gruhn,  Isaac Aronov, Tasos Sofronas, Thanos Vazakas, Michael Menze, Tom Ortmüller, to my best friend Michel Le Stum for his fantastic artwork and his mental support and last but not least to Vana Verouthi, not only for her contribution on "Utopia", but also for her kindness, magic and energy.

Concert poster for Planetarium Muenster

We are happy to present the official poster for the concert at "Planetarium Muenster", which will happen on november 23rd!

New CD announced!

Second half of 2013 will be full of activitites and I am happy to inform you, that there will also be a new album right in time to the concerts, which will be released on a new label!

The music of "Utopia" will also be presented live at the concerts in Berlin, Muenster and Jena in next autumn. So there is nothing to add to this good news at the moment, except some hot hours in my studio during the next weeks ;-)

We are proud and happy to announce a very special supporting acts for all 3 concerts in november this year. It will be:

Thorsten Quaeschning´s „Picture Palace music“ plays REMNANTS

Thorsten Quaeschning is member of well known "Tangerine Dream" and also head of his band "Picture Palace music". He was asked to compose and play the music for a documentation for BBC television, which is called "REMNANTS"


REMNANTS explores the rise and fall of the Neolithic civilisation of Britain via motion controlled, digital timelapse cinematography.

In one of the longest cultural developments in history, from 3800 to 1000 BC the Neolithic peoples of Northern Europe constructed thousands of complex stone monuments. Their reasons for doing so remain largely a mystery to this day.
Utilising highly stylized, motion controlled timelapse photography, Remnants captures the essence and austere beauty of their amazing 'Megalithic' constructions, suggests and reveals their purposes, and poses a question to our current culture. History has proven repeatedly that no civilisation can last indefinitely. Will we share the same fate?
Shot in 4K resolution over the course of four years throughout the UK and Ireland, Remnants is set only to an original score by Thorsten Quaeschning (and presented in a pristine widescreen digital print.

Thorsten Quaeschning will present this 37 minutes long documentation exclusively on Bernd Kistenmacher's live concerts in fulldome quality and he will play the music of this documentation live with 3 others members of his band "Picture Palace music".
Expect a very special evening full of beautiful pictures and fantastic music in Berlin (16.11.2013, Planetarium), Muenster (23.11.2013, Planetarium) or Jena (30.11.2013, Planetarium).

Hot news!

As you maybe know, Bernd Kistenmacher will perform at "Zeiss-Planetarium in Muenster", on Nov 23^rd and "Zeiss-Planetarium Jena", where he will present new and previously unreleased music as well as selected solo works. 

He is exclusively accompanied by drummer Burghard Rausch ("Agitation Free").
